- XP600 Cap Top: A specialized single suction cup lined with soft, chemically resilient rubber. It is sized exactly to form an airtight seal around the perimeter of an XP600 nozzle plate.
- Peristaltic Suction Pump: A rotary roller pump that squeezes internal silicone lines to create a strong vacuum draw, pulling fresh ink down through the printhead channels.
- Lifting Gear Train: A mechanical tracking mechanism that automatically lifts the capping pad up into place when the carriage reaches the home position, and lowers it before printing begins.
- Dedicated Wiper Blade: A flexible rubber or polyurethane blade positioned next to the cap. It wipes away excess ink droplets and lint from the nozzle face before a print job starts.
