- The Hardware: They feature a translucent plastic body for easy visual inspection, an integrated stainless steel level float sensor, and a top cap section configured with 3, 4, or 6 tubing holes.
- The Function: The sensor monitors the local ink volume. When a high-speed print run depletes the ink past a set threshold, the float drops and triggers the main chassis pump to replenish the buffer, preventing the printhead from pulling air pockets and throwing banding defects.
